OnePlus’ latest flagship tablet, the OnePlus Pad 3, will go on open sale in India starting September 5 at 12 PM, with prices starting at Rs. 47,999. However, with bank offers, the starting price drops to Rs 42,999. The Pad 3 arrives as the successor to the OnePlus Pad 2 and is positioned to strengthen the company’s presence in the premium Android tablet segment.

It is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, paired with up to 16GB RAM, aiming to deliver console-level gaming performance and heavy multitasking support. A key highlight is its 13.2-inch 3.4K display with a 7:5 aspect ratio, slightly wider than the traditional 16:10 screens, designed to offer more room for multitasking. The panel supports 12-bit colour (8-bit hardware with 4-bit FRC) and 315 PPI pixel density.

The device houses a 12,140 mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC charging, which is notably larger than what most Android tablets in this price bracket offer. On the software side, it ships with OxygenOS 15, featuring enhanced multitasking tools like system-level drag and drop, AI-assisted writing and summarisation, and integration of Google’s Gemini and Circle to Search.

The OnePlus Pad 3 will be available in two configurations. The 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Rs. 47,999. The 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is priced at Rs. 52,999. As part of introductory offers, buyers between September 5–7 will receive a Stylo 2 and Folio worth Rs. 7,198 at no additional cost. Customers can also avail a Rs. 5,000 instant bank discount and up to 12 months no-cost EMI on select credit cards.

With this launch, OnePlus is aiming squarely at the upper mid-to-premium tablet market. The Pad 3 undercuts Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 series, which starts above Rs. 60,000 in India, while offering a bigger battery and similar high-end chipsets. Against Apple’s lineup, the pricing puts it closer to the iPad Air (from Rs. 59,900).

For users seeking a large-screen Android alternative with top-end specs at a slightly lower entry point, the OnePlus Pad 3 broadens the competitive landscape in a category that has so far been dominated by Samsung and Apple.

The tablet will be sold through the official website of OnePlus, OnePlus Store app, OnePlus Experience Stores, Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Bajaj Electronics, and other offline retail partners. Two colour options — Storm Blue and Frosted Silver — will be available at launch.
